Official Controls for Academic Requirements in Diploma Programs

1. Activity Controls (5 marks out of 40):

• Activities are mandatory. Failure to implement results in a 5-mark deduction from the course total (100).
• Criteria: Implementation (3 marks), Submission (1 mark), Deadline (1 mark).
• Activities are announced after the mid-term exam, with a submission period of at least 10 days.

2. Presentation Controls:

• Criteria: Preparation & Content (1 mark), Delivery & Performance (2 marks), Submission (1 mark), Deadline (1 mark).
• Delivery is mandatory for every trainee in the group. Formal attire is required (without Abaya) during delivery.
• Only one postponement is allowed with a deduction of the deadline mark.

3. Bonus Controls (Optional +5 marks):

• An additional reward aims to enhance skills and achievement levels.
• Bonus is optional. If implemented, 5 marks are added to the mid-term total (max 40 marks).
• Criteria: Implementation (3 marks), Submission (1 mark), Deadline (1 mark).

4. Assignment Controls (10 marks out of 40):

• Assignments are mandatory, divided into two assignments (5 marks each).
• The first assignment is uploaded at the end of the first week and the second at the end of the second week of the training quarter.
• Submission period is between 7 to 10 days.
• Criteria: Correct solution & Implementation (2 marks), Submission (1 mark), Deadline (1 mark), Individual effort & Originality (2 marks).
• A one-day extension is granted for documented technical or medical excuses with a deduction of the deadline mark.

5. General Controls:

• ChatGPT can be used for research without copy-pasting content. Direct usage in the solution results in 0 marks.
• Assignments must be submitted manually (handwritten then photographed and uploaded via the site).
